Shipping policy

At Zona Med Equipment we strive to deliver your products on time.  Shipping handling time varies within the product. We make sure that your equipment is well packaged and secure. 

Our shipping rates are mostly calculated within weight, but certain products count with flat rates. 

Please allow us up to 2-30 days of handling time, especially for special orders and backorders. Most of our supplies ship the same business day as the order is placed. 

Medical tables take 10-15 business days to be prepared. Heavy equipment is shipped via Freight Company, only a lift gate is included which means, the product will be dropped off outside the delivery location (no inside-delivery). 

We work with high-quality shipping carriers like UPS, FEDEX, USPS and Nationwide. 

Once an order is placed, will proceed to prepare your package and let you know when you may expect your product. We offer personalized assistance per order, which means we will take extra care that you are happy with your order.

Medical Equipment Abandonment & Storage Policy

This policy governs all medical equipment (“Equipment”) delivered to or left in the custody of Zona Med Equipment (“Company”) for evaluation, service, repair, storage, or any other purpose.

1.⁠ ⁠Abandonment of Equipment

Any Equipment remaining in the possession of Zona Med Equipment for more than ninety (90) calendar days after any of the following events shall be deemed abandoned property under applicable Florida law and Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) principles:

- Completion of service or repair

- Written or verbal notification that the Equipment is ready for pickup

- Request for return shipment

- Issuance of an invoice or final estimate

Absent a written storage agreement executed by both parties, Zona Med Equipment shall have no further obligation to safeguard or retain the Equipment beyond the 90-day period.

2.⁠ ⁠No Refunds or Compensation

Once Equipment is deemed abandoned:

Zona Med Equipment shall not be liable for any refunds, credits, reimbursements, or monetary compensation of any kind, regardless of the original value, condition, or ownership interest in the Equipment.

This applies to, but is not limited to, service fees, deposits, purchase payments, or shipping costs.

3.⁠ ⁠Disposal or Sale of Abandoned Equipment

Upon abandonment, Zona Med Equipment may, at its sole discretion and without further notice:

Dispose of, recycle, discard, or destroy the Equipment; or

Sell or otherwise transfer the Equipment to recover costs

The customer expressly waives any claim to proceeds, compensation, or damages arising from such disposal or sale.

4.⁠ ⁠Storage Beyond 90 Days (Written Agreement Required)

Storage beyond the 90-day abandonment period will only be permitted if a written agreement is executed by Zona Med Equipment.

If storage is approved, a minimum storage fee of $380 per month shall apply.

Storage fees begin on day 91 and accrue monthly.

All accrued storage fees, service charges, and related costs must be paid in full prior to release or shipment of the Equipment.

5.⁠ ⁠Customer Responsibilities

The customer is responsible for providing and maintaining accurate contact information.

Failure to respond to notices, invoices, or communications does not waive or invalidate this policy.

The customer bears all risk of loss associated with abandoned Equipment.

6.⁠ ⁠Governing Law

This policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles.
